This was from one of the early games in our Beginner League session this summer. You can see that we don't have our game jerseys yet. I'm sure that had something to do with the fact that we started our game play with zero wins (and six losses)...

But for the most part I'm trying to forget these games, or at least the results... <grin>
These first three pictures are from the last game of our Beginner League "Regular Season." We're on a roll here, coming into the game on a one game winning streak.
(We were 1-6... <grin>). Here I'm taking a face-off, with Dan and Ann on the wings.
Turns out our goaltender (Mike Countryman) stole the game for us with 24 saves for a 1-0 win!
Finally came the big finish, the "Championship Game!" After a summer of playing the same team, it all came down to one game to decide on final bragging rights.
I think it's safe to say that we were all a little nervous. The Jets had beaten us the first six times we played them. Though we managed to win the last two games, memories of the previous defeats lingered. (Impressive scars from some of the games...) Could we keep on winning?
