This is my baby. My bike. It is a 1983 Honda Shadow 750. The only year that Honda built a 750. (This can be a pain if you're looking for parts.) You can see the new pipes (exhaust) I had put on it. Slash Tips from the Dennis Kirk catalog, installed by Roys Repair Motorcycle Service for me. They also did a tune up and Dyno tuning with their Eddy Current dynamometer, and the bike runs great! Definitely money well spent.
Honda has put together a web page detailing the joys of the Shadow 750! Very cool stuff
For detailed information on the bike, check out the Clymer Maintenance & Repair Manual for Honda VT700 & 750 Twins, 1983-1987. It's what you need.
Another web site dedicated to Honda Motorcycles has a Shadow VT750C page.
Otherwise, use Google to search
for the 1983
Shadow VT750C.
My Jeep! I bought this last year to replace my poor 1987 Toyota Corolla. The Toyota was a small hatchback, and I swore that the next vehicle I bought I would be able to sit upright in. With that strict limitation in mind, I went shopping. I couldn't be happier with what I got.
