Jennie Pics!

(These are the pictures I've received from my friend Jennie this week. Comments are all hers... <grin>))

Thanks for the nice comments we've gotten back. To answer the questions we've been getting:

1) He's not truly sleeping through the night yet. Late last week we had some nights of solid sleep from 10-6, but I think it's because the poor little guy had a bad cold. He's getting up earlier - just after 4am usually - but it's much better than before! Maybe the days of 10-6 aren't too far away.

2) He is vocalizing a lot. Before I left for work this morning, Mike, Andy and I had a "conversation". He is very expressive in his sounds and the pitch!

3) Yes he is smiling now....Here is a picture taken on Christmas with a very early smile. Lately (as the other pic shows) his most prone pose is one with the fist in the mouth. No, his hair isn't really that orange red, it's just a strange reflection from the light. His hair is a medium brown:

Happy Presidents' Day! Here's one of our latest favorites of Andy - nothing like a smile to start off the work week (for those of us who do have to work today....)

Here is one we refer to as Andy the frog. Occasionally he likes to sprawl out on Mike's lap and take a snooze...he looks like a frog on his back.

In keeping with the animal theme here is Andy with whom we hope will eventually be his best friend - Benji. Though Benji will compete with Andy for our attention, often we find them side by side...

we are nearing the end of the pics (some of you are surely breathing a sigh of relief). Tomorrow will be the last mailing for awhile... Todays pics represent snaps of Andy's actions while sitting on the couch. He likes to look around - especially following Benji walking around the room- and he just loves to suck on his whole hand.
